With love, nothing is ever impossible.
I repeat this phrase over and over to myself…
Nothing is ever impossible.
Love can change opinions. It can change minds.
It can change the world.
Love is powerful. Love is pure. It is full of amazing moments when you first meet the girl or guy that you know you are one day going to marry.
You stop and look into their eyes, and somewhere in the hues of green, blue, grey, you see your reflection, reflected back in love.
“… Your morse code interferes with my heart beat. I had a steady heart before you. I relied upon it. It had seen active service and grown strong. Now you alter its pace with your own rhythm you play upon me, drumming me taught.”
Stereotypes, stereotypes everywhere. The world seems to have formed an image in their mind of what a lesbian is. What a lesbian couple is. What a gay couple looks like. But truthfully we’re as diverse as they come.
The intimacy project is aimed at that… It is a closer look at couples, hoping to break down stereotypes and just see people for who they are; their hearts and lives laid bare. It is a look at they rhythm of love…
For our American visitors, Thanksgiving Day in Canada rings in in Sunny October. The leaves are still on the tress. And it is usually still warm enough to walk around without a parka.
This past Thanksgiving Day I had the pleasure of meeting up with an adorable Lesbian couple in Brantford Ontario to take some fun shots.
While we walked the banks of the Lorne River, they told me their story. Two high school sweethearts, met fell in love and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt, even at a young age…. You’re it. You are it for me. You and no other.
To say I fell in love with their story would be an understatement.
